The Kansas City Film Society

The Kansas City Film Society have three audiences and one mission; to build a supportive community for film lovers, makers and exhibitors. I was inspired by the fast rewind symbol as a logo mark with its three parts working together, and also forming the initials KC. Working with the board to create new positioning statements for the Society inspired the design of a new, more intuitive member website and payment system and weekly event promotion email. Since rebranding, the membership has grown by 400% and film screenings are up to 44 each year.
