Troost Jazz & Soul

Troost Jazz & Soul is the annual gala for Reconciliation Services in Kansas City. After refining the RS system, it was clear that their big fundraising event should also depict the same concept of respect - seeing people differently. I joined the two Os in Troost together to create a set of eye glasses. Through them we showed past, present and future stories of their clients, donors and projects. I built assets for social media, a registration microsite and all programming and marketing materials from the new mark. In the third year alone the gala raised $150k for the work on Troost Avenue.

The merging of the Os in Troost enabled me to create a pair of eye glasses. The concept of seeing differently was a direct link to the RS logo.

Throughout the night I facilitated a team of photographers running images live to projected social media so donors could also find themselves in the story.

The evening featured a presentation on the launch of a new pay-as-you-go Cafe. This card gave donors a look at how that structure worked.
