A 2024 AIGA Design Award

My poster series for the 2023 Happy Hour at the Piano Shop jazz events received a design award from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Kansas City, earning recognition in the Editorial and Print category.

The award was presented at AIGA Kansas City's annual Design Awards Gala in Overland Park, Kansas. Each year, designers, agencies, and organizations submit their best work for consideration across a range of disciplines, including brand identity, environmental graphics, animation, illustration, editorial design, video production, and photography.

I am honored to receive this recognition. The AIGA Design Awards celebrate the creativity, innovation, and impact of the Kansas City design community, highlighting outstanding work from some of the region’s most talented creative professionals.

AIGA is the oldest and largest professional association for design, with more than 70 chapters and over 15,000 members nationwide. The organization advocates for the value of design and designers in business, government, education, and society, while fostering excellence within the creative profession.
