Morningside Blooms

Morningside Blooms

Noella Chung is the founder of Morningside Blooms, a floral design studio and farm serving South Kansas City. In collaboration with Lyn Morse-Brown, we developed a brand identity designed to reflect Noella’s desire to bring beauty, joy, and connection to the community through her flowers.

The Morningside Blooms logo was inspired by a vintage sign Noella discovered and incorporates elements of the Art Deco style, a visual language deeply rooted in Kansas City's architectural and design heritage. Beyond the logo, the project included brand positioning and copywriting, along with the development of a comprehensive visual identity system.

The final system included a social media avatar, typography suite, color palette, and a collection of graphic patterns built around the distinctive "M" mark, creating a cohesive and recognizable presence across both print and digital applications.
